Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to some popular questions below. If you can’t find your question below feel free to contact me, and I’ll be happy to help.

How does therapy work?

Therapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual or family and a therapist. Grounded in dialogue, it provides a supportive safe environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who’s objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental. You and your therapist will work together to identify and change the thought and behavior patterns that are keeping you from living your best life.

Do you take Insurance?

Please be aware that I do not directly accept insurance. Clients are encouraged to ask their insurance company if they have any “out-of-network benefits” as your therapy may be covered in partial or full. Upon your request, you can be provided with a super-bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How much does therapy cost?

Cost can vary depending on services and need. Therapy fees can range from $110 – $150 depending on service location. Fees are due at the time of services and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.

Your cost will be discussed during your consultation call.

How long is therapy?

The length of a session is typically 50 minutes and can last from 2-8 months but may continue as long as 12-15 months. The number of sessions is determined collaboratively based on factors such as severity and history of symptoms, frequency of sessions, and readiness for change.

Who do I contact if I’m having an emergency?

In the event of an emergency after hours, clients are advised to contact their local mental hospital, 911, or the Arizona Crisis Hotline 1-844-534-4613 text 4HOPE (44673).

Do you offer Telehealth?

Absolutely! I offer both telephone and video therapy sessions to clients who prefer online to in-person appointments. You can call us to schedule or book your first online session. Existing clients please send an email request.
